A visit by the Mobile Cancer Screening Coach
The Mobile Cancer Screening Coach is a 45-foot-long bus that can bring cancer screening directly to workplaces. Its services are aimed at mid-to-large size companies with screening-age employees who:
- Don’t have a healthcare provider such as a family doctor or nurse practitioner
- Have a healthcare provider but face barriers such as transportation, cultural or other personal factors that prevent them from participating in cancer screening.
What to bring: A valid Ontario Health Card is required for screening services on the Coach.
Parking the Coach: The Coach needs a location to park that’s level and accessible for employees, as well as a place nearby for the Coach team to park their vehicles. Our team also requires access to a washroom inside your facility. We require employers to promote the Coach services to their staff in advance of our visit, and will provide all promotional materials.
