Regional Cancer Plan

It is with great pride and a deep sense of responsibility that we present our Regional Cancer Plan (RCP) — a strategic roadmap designed to guide our collective efforts in improving cancer care for the patients and families we serve.

Cancer touches every corner of our region, and addressing its challenges requires a coordinated, patient-centered approach grounded in compassion, equity, and evidence. This plan reflects the voices of patients, clinicians, researchers, and community partners who generously shared their insights and experiences. Their contributions have shaped a vision that is both ambitious and achievable — one that acknowledges regional realities while aiming for the highest standards of care.

This is a strategic overview of the RCP 6 Plan. Detailed implementation plans and timelines will follow as our teams are building their work on this strategic foundation.

As we look ahead, our focus is clear. We need use our curiosity and creativity to build a better experience for those facing a cancer diagnosis, to improve our services and outcomes for those impacted by cancer, to form stronger ties with agencies across our region and to build a better work experience for those providing care. We will continue to advance innovation through research and will deepen our commitment to equitable and inclusive care for all communities.
