Thank you for such a great uptake on HPV for cervical screening. Perhaps some of you noticed that the referral form to colposcopy needed updating to include HPV!
In order to improve and standardize the referral process for colposcopy across the HNHB region, a new Regional Referral Form for Colposcopy has been in development with consultation with the folks at colposcopy and also primary care. Many thanks to our primary care leads who provided valuable feedback.
This form can be used for all referrals to gynecology for colposcopy -i.e. hospital and private clinics. If there are any rejections of this new form, please let us know at hnhbregionalcancerprogram@hhsc.ca so the team at the Regional Cancer Program can further facilitate its acceptance.
